MARCH RECIPE

Everest Fudge (from Sir Edmund Hillary's Everest Expedition

1 cup dried mixed fruit

1 cup dried milk powder

1 cup of coconut

6oz. melted butter

1 cup icing sugar

½ cup chopped nuts or small pieces of chocolate

Mix all ingredients together with a little milk or water; press into a tin lined with greaseproof paper, or a china dish, put into fridge and cut out when cold.

Sir Edmund just left the tin on the side of the mountain, obviously!
