THE JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB

The Junior Youth Club is going really well. We have twelve children in the register and they are all joining in enthusiastically with the activities we arrange for them.

One of the most enjoyable evenings was the visit from the woodturner who enthralled the children for the whole session!

More recently on Remembrance Sunday the children made and coloured poppies. They had to make the longest line possible up and down the hall and prizes were given for longest line, best looking poppy and most poppies. Altogether they made 319! We are going to make a collage out of them to present at next year's service.

The children are currently rehearsing for the Christingle and Crib services and will have a joint Christmass Party with the Sunday School on Sunday 14th December at 12 noon in the Church Hall.

To keep the children busy over the holiday we have designed a wordsearch for them. All complete and correct answers returned to us will win a prize.

Happy Christmass. Club starts again in the New Year on Sunday 9th January 1998.
