A service for Lady Day, 2000. Noon on Saturday 25th March at Portsmouth Cathedral.
The Mothers' Union extend a welcome to you all. Similar services are being held, on this day, in all parts of the world where the Mothers' Union is found. Based on the Magnificat, the service is part of our celebration of the new millennium.
Packed lunch, drinks available. At 1.45.pm, Mr Reg Bailey, the new Chief Executive of the Mothers' Union, will address us.
Advance Notice
On 13th September 2001, the members of the Mothers' Union of the whole United Kingdom will be holding their General Meeting in the Portsmouth Guildhall. They will be celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the Organisation. There will be a Service in the Cathedral on the previous evening (12th September) at 7.30.pm.
