ST GEORGE'S LADIES GROUP

St George's Ladies Group invited a group from Southbourne, appropriately named The Dragons, to a quiz evening. We had seven tables with the two groups integrating to enable everyone to get to know each other. Terry Courtney Diehl, who devises quizzes for the church, organised the quiz and acted as quiz master. During the interval everyone enjoyed an American supper. It was a very convivial evening and I think we all added to our general knowledge. I doubt if anyone knew that banana oil comes from coal.
