ACT NEWS

Thirty of us still support two children through their education in Chingola in Zambia. As well as an annual payment, we remember their birthdays and Christmas. We receive regular thanks from their mother and a monthly prayer sheet in which St George's features from time to time and in which we can follow the progress of our two nominated children.

In November we received the following letter from Joanna's mother Mirriam in response to the birthday present we sent to Joanna.

"Dear Brethren

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

I just write to say thank you so much for all the help you have been rendering to my daughter Joanna. Indeed may the good Lord combine blessings to you ever as you continue in this Ministry. I would also like to say thank you to members at St George's, Roslyn Edwards, John Millard, Lynn Winter, Margret(sic), Eileen, Joe, Gerry and Tony just to name a few.

All the same may the good Lord Jesus bless you all and may his face shine upon you now and forever.

Yours in Christ

Mirriam Sangweji"

If anyone is interested in learning more of the work of ACT please speak to me. I am hoping that Kunle Onabolu from ACT will come down and speak to us one day; he is a larger than life guy, with a great sense of humour and a burning passion for his mission. Don't expect a short sermon on that day!!
