Come Aside to Rest Awhile

Margaret and John Symonds stayed at Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre recently, and describe it as "An Oasis of peace, filled with the presence of Our Lord"....

Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre

In the midst of the pressures and burdens of a busy life it is a very precious thing to be able to come aside to rest... to allow yourself "space" with the Lord and a bit of "space" for yourself.

The need to come aside is essential for your well-being spiritually, mentally and bodily. A stay at the Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre at Crowhurst near Battle in beautiful East Sussex countryside can afford you the opportunity to do just that. In the peace and quiet of beautiful surroundings, you'll find a lovely opportunity to allow the Lord to touch your life; to show you His love in a personal and corporate way, and to allow you to experience His healing touch and forgiveness in a place of need. In the context of daily worship, preaching of the word, prayer and rest, the Lord Jesus can minister into your deepest areas of concern, brokenness, pain and weariness. To be still, to rest in His presence, to learn of the Lord's love for you, are all part of Jesus' healing ministry in this place.

There is also opportunity to enjoy gentle creative activities; to express yourself through painting; to enjoy walking; to share fellowship with others or simply just to rest and just ”be". You will be well cared for in comfortable and peaceful surroundings, nurtured and fed well in every respect.

Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." "Come", he says. So please come to Crowhurst and find the rest you need. Draw close to God and he will draw close to you.
