Financial Update

With the APCM behind us, now is the time for me to file away all the paperwork in connection with the 2003 accounts. However, for anyone who missed the meeting and would like to see a full set of accounts for 2003 I still have copies available for inspection - just ask me.

David Palmer's bulb sales have raised a further £255 for general church funds and the sale of paperback books at the Thursday market has realised £25. Profit of £250 from the Friday coffee mornings has also been donated to the church and 'Smartie' tubes in aid of the churchyard have raised another £45. We continue to be grateful to our magazine advertisers for providing £165 revenue so far in 2004.

The Bishop's Lent Appeal reached £121.03 and from the Wednesday coffee morning charity monies £50 has been sent to UNICEF and £50 to the MacMillan Cancer Relief. A fire blanket for the church cost £18.20, an Easter advert in the 'News' £18, PPL Licence for playing taped background music at events £138.86 and to repair and replace the cross on the lid of the silver ciborium £58.75.
