Garden Party

At the annual Garden Party this summer, held in Pam and Eric Dinneen's garden, the sum of £102 was raised towards the work of the MU both here and Overseas.

Deanery Eucharist Service

On Monday 9th August Fr Mike Sheffield conducted a Deanery Eucharist service for Mary Sumner Day followed by coffee and bring and buy in the Church hall. The proceeds of this were given towards the MU Literacy Programme and raised £55.56. Our thanks to all our members for their efforts and friendship.

We meet on Thursday October 21st at 2.15.pm in the Church Hall when the Revd. Arthur Green will recall his memories of his long association with the Mothers' Union.

St Ann's Church

Following our September meeting on the dockyard church, St Ann's, we were invited to make a visit. Anyone keen to do so should get in touch with Margaret Symonds or Pam Hawton. (Date to be arranged.)
