Mothers' Union

The Mothers' Union meet in the hall on Thursday February 17th at 2.15.pm when Mr John Symonds will give an illustrated talk on Medieval Wall Painting (in Hampshire and West Sussex churches). Our meetings are always open to non-members, who will be welcomed.

N.B. The Mothers' Union Annual General Meeting will take place in the hall at noon on Wednesday February 23rd. Our Vicar will be the Chairman.

Part time Secretary

The Mothers' Union urgently requires a part-time secretary to service its activities in the Portsmouth Diocese. She or he, should be computer literate; the work is interesting and varied. Hours are flexible and could be arranged to suit the office holder, but would generally not exceed four hours per week for which a generous fee is paid. Our office is in central Portsmouth. For more information please telephone Marian Wendon on 023 9229 4869.

For sale:

Singer sewing machine (non-electric) £35 and nearly new Word Processor, £25. Proceeds for the work of the Mothers' Union in our linked branches in Ghana.
