Who are the Tweenies?

You may have seen them on the TV, but I can assure you that this group of ladies from St. George's Church is very different from anything you'll ever see on the television.

It is a brand new group at Church and the name came about whilst sitting in a Chinese restaurant in Southsea in January. Since then, we've been to see the musicals Boogie Nights and Starlight Express in Southampton, met together to study the Lent course, had a very large American supper and had a long walk around Bosham. The photo you see is us in the pub recovering after the walk. Eating and drinking seems to feature largely in the programme and future events also include a BBQ, skittles, a pampering evening with massage and beauty treatments and a games evening.

We are:

 fun loving and fit
 energetic and exciting
 playful and prayerful
 hard-working and happy

The Tweenies

Existing members are already fixing the programme for September onwards. If you are a (female) member of St. George's Church and would like to see what we do, speak to me any Sunday.
