Have you any wool? Update

I was delighted with the generous response to my initial request for knitting wool earlier in the year and thought you might be interested to know how your donated wool has so far been used.

I was able to donate £75 to the Summer Fete takings having raised this amount through making various knitted 'bits and bobs' for family and friends. I was also able to knit some 'England' mascots which again raised funds at the Fete.

I am now busy knitting 'Pompey' snowballs and 'Pompey' Christmas stockings as well as other knitted Christmas items for the forthcoming Church Bazaar.

As well as benefiting St George's Church I have also been able to knit and donate items to the charity 'Feed the Children' who provide blankets and warm clothes for babies and toddlers in places such as Angola, Uganda, Kenya and Afghanistan "! helping to save lives as the nights can be very cold for the vulnerable children who sometimes have nothing.

So to all those kind people who gave wool and continue to do so I would like to say thank you.
