Waterlooville Music Festival

Waterlooville Music Festival 2007 - what a resounding success! Here are selected photos of just some of the many highlights during this week of such varied music ranging from classical, jazz, rock, vocal, organ and piano, and culminating in the electrifying atmosphere of Last Night at the Proms.

You may be interested to know that:
62 people attended the flower and organ workshops
625 people came to the lunchtime concerts
784 people came to the evening concerts
371 people attended the Sunday and daily Eucharists.

This means that 1842 people came through the Church doors over the 9 days, which is about 500 more than last year. As one of the Festivals’ aims is to increase the profile of St George’s Church, to welcome so many people inside is a sign of how successful the week was.

Oh, and 2 dogs came to the lunchtime concerts as well!

Plans are now underway for the 2008 Festival! KEEP THE DATES CLEAR FOR NEXT YEAR!
7th to 15th June 2008. The Fête will be on Saturday 14th June.
