Waterlooville Music Festival 2007 - what a resounding success! The many highlights during this week of such varied music ranged from classical, jazz, rock, vocal, organ and piano, and culminated in the electrifying atmosphere of Last Night at the Proms.

You may be interested to know that: 62 people attended the flower and organ workshops; 625 people came to the lunchtime concerts; 784 people came to the evening concerts; 371 people attended the Sunday and daily Eucharists.

This means that 1842 people came through the Church doors over the 9 days, which is about 500 more than last year. As one of the Festivals’ aims is to increase the profile of St George’s Church, to welcome so many people inside is a sign of how successful the week was. Oh, and 2 dogs came to the lunchtime concerts as well!

The Waterlooville Music Festival 2008 is now being planned, and will take place from June 7th to June 15th, 2008.
