Gatcombe Park Primary School Choir began about seven years ago as an after school club.  The Choir meets every Tuesday for 40 minutes and has regular members as well as new members each term. The children range between Year One and Year Six. The Choir enjoys singing a variety of different songs and at the end of each half-term performs some of its repertoire to the whole school. This afternoon we all have the opportunity to enjoy listening to this talented young choir.

HCSC was founded in 1989. HCSC have performed all over Hampshire and at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Millennium Dome in London. In Europe, tours include France, Germany, Italy and Holland from where they were invited to travel to Luxembourg and perform on the largest bandstand in Europe at Place d'Armes, Luxembourg City.

A CHOIRED TASTE
A Choired Taste was founded in 2003 by Lou Bundy who is the leader and musical director. It has over 100 members, with ages ranging from 18 to 80. Around 75 vocalists will take part in this performance.

Initially formed for fun, A Choired Taste is beginning to gain an impressive list of achievements which include accolades and awards from the Portsmouth Music Festival. Recent concerts have been held at Chichester University and The Turner Simms Concert Hall in Southampton. The choir has a growing repertoire of various genres which includes songs from musicals, ballads, modern songs and hymns.

In October the choir will embark on its first overseas tour to Bruges in Belgium. An adventure everyone is very much looking forward to.
