SOLENT MALE VOICE CHOIR
The Solent Male Voice Choir was founded in 1961. The Choir has sung at many music festivals, at the Llangollen Eisteddfodd and with several other choirs in South Wales and various parts of Southern England.
(second half):
AFRICAPELLA
Part of the African Women's Forum, the group featured in last year's Bicentenary play "Brighter than the Moon" at the New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth. The Bicentenary was commemorating the abolition of the trans-atlantic slave trade by the Slave Bill of 1807. The group sings African Caribbean village and work songs and Negro Spirituals. We look forward to an exciting and fun evening with Africapella.
