THE TRAVELLING NATIVITY SET

Would you and your family like to shelter the Holy Family for one or two nights on the way to Bethlehem?

The Mothers' Union have a lovely set of knitted figures, Mary and Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherds with sheep and three wise men. They will be accompanied by a Nativity story book and a simple stable (box).

If you would like to participate as an individual or as a family please put your name, address and phone number on a list at the back of the church during November or give these details to: - Mrs Anne Willoughby (9225 6008), Mrs Julia Spurgeon (9225 7377), Mrs Winifred Mancz (9226 3696), or Mrs Adina Burton (9225 3301).

The set will be blessed in church on Advent Sunday December 3rd and go home with the first family on the list after the 10.am service. Each family keeps the Nativity set for one or two nights and takes it on to the next address the following day. It is advisable to phone ahead so that someone is at home to receive it. The last family will return the set to the Church on Christmas Eve for the Crib/Carol Service at 5.pm.
