CRIB & CHRISTINGLE SERVICE

On Monday 24th December at 5.pm we are going to hold our combined Crib and Christingle service in church. This year the Children's Society is focusing Christingle on one urgent cause - the plight of young runaways. Our gifts of money will help support the society's vital projects working with young runaways on the streets of our towns and cities.

Every year 100,000 children run away from home or care, to escape violence, abuse or neglect. Some are sleeping rough, frightened and alone, in back alleys, graveyards and among rubbish bins. Tragically, the dangers they face on the street may be even worse.

Please come and support the work of the Society - it will mean that we can do even more to reach out to children who are scared, hungry and alone on the streets. Envelopes available in advance from Anne Willoughby, telephone 023 9225 6008.
