The Parish Church of St George the Martyr, Waterlooville

Celebrations bring colour, sound, aroma of bar-b-que and sound of music. The 40th celebrations were opened with a real jubilation as it was our Lord’s resurrection day; therefore, we started with oomph! Alleluia!  It certainly added colour and brought freshness to the church. Then it was the family fun day which was filled with the laughter of children and adults alike, having fun together with Roly Bain the clown.

May I congratulate everyone at St. George’s  for participating and contributing in every way in the 40th Anniversary events. So far we have had the taste of three events and they have all been fantastically received. You are all worthy of every credit that comes with it. The 40th Anniversary Committee wishes to acknowledge your help and support and hopes that you will continue to do the same in the future.

Please remember to collect your 40th anniversary calendar from the back of the Church, and note those important dates in your diaries as missing out on your church events can be very disappointing.  Be with it, be part of it.

On behalf of the 40th Anniversary Committee,

Fr Timon Singh
