I conclude with a thank you for your continuing generosity during particularly hard times for the charities themselves.

CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young)

Thank you so much for your kind donation of £127.55 from your retiring collections. It will enable us to progress our campaign to reduce the number of young sudden cardiac deaths and the heartbreak that follows such a tragic loss. The funds will be used for our very ambitious initiatives, which include supporting medical research, subsidising CRY screening clinics and CRY literature and information. We also provide Bereavement services and fast track Pathology for affected families.

WaterAid

Thank you for your kind donation of £110.92 which will bring safe water, sanitation and improved hygiene to some of the poorest people in the world.

Your donation could contribute to the installation of a handpump and the training of local members of the community to repair and maintain it. Ram Kanthi is one of the many women WaterAid has helped to train, transforming her livelihood and the health of her community. We learnt to repair the pumps so that when they break down we can fix them as quickly as possible. Ram Kanthi, Mahoba region, India. Your help is hugely appreciated and will enable us to help more people like Ram.

Whizz–Kidz

Thanks to you all for your kind donation of £85.47. Whizz-Kidz strives to give the right mobility equipment to children and young people across the UK at the right time - providing them with the independence so greatly needed to meet their potential and fulfil their dreams.

What makes our support so unique and important is the immediate and life-changing impact we can have on a young person’s life. The day a child gets a wheelchair is the start of a whole new life for them and their family too. We also do so much more and are here for children throughout their childhood, offering training to ensure they get the most out of their mobility equipment and our life skills training helps them to make the transition to adulthood.

The Elizabeth Foundation

Thank you so much for your donation of £29.40. We are delighted that you have chosen our charity to support on this occasion, and would like to pass on our grateful thanks to you all.

YMCA

I am in receipt of your cheque for £45.16 and would like to give a big thank you to everyone for their very kind donations. With the financial climate as it is at the moment, I find it really encouraging and heart warming that people will still put their hands in their pockets to give to someone else in need.

Havant Portage Service

Many thanks for your generous donation of £104.83 collected for the children and families who receive support from our service. We are so grateful for your continued support, which enables us to offer social events and purchase new toys or equipment.

Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to the church and your congregation.
