Advent Miscellany
A smaller group of ladies than usual gathered for our Advent Miscellany on 20th December.
We enjoyed an afternoon of readings, poems and carols, and finished with our usual raffle, teas and coffee, and warm mince pies.
Epiphany Party
St George’s Mothers’ Union held its Epiphany Party together with guests from other churches and MU Branches on Thursday 17th January.
After a “maze” game we sang carols chosen by different members and then settled down to a buffet tea of pasties, sandwiches, scones and cakes, with tea and coffee.
Underneath everyone’s plate was a cloakroom ticket and later all received a wrapped surprise gift with the corresponding number attached.
