David George Harrington, DipABRSM – MD
A Graduate of the RWCMD, composer, arranger and accompanist and has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, St. David’s Hall, Wales Millennium Centre and at music festivals all over the UK. Has arranged music for Katherine Jenkins, Only Men Aloud and many theatre companies and professional artists across the country – having arrangements performed on BBC Radio 2 (Chris Evans and Terry Wogan) and a broadcast on ITV’s boxing day Christmas special, 2014. Commissions for new music include soloists from the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera and Cory Brass Band. As a pianist, has performed alongside the London Show Orchestra, the Band of HM Royal Marines and has accompanied at the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition and at St. Paul’s, Covent Garden.
Before forming All that Malarkey in 2014, David was known to Waterlooville Music Festival audiences through several piano performances presented with Oaklands School, and even back then his talent and musical genius was obvious.
Amy Elizabeth Fuller, Soprano
Since graduating from the RWCMD, Amy has worked closely alongside David George Harrington to develop the All That Malarkey brand and stage shows. Amy has performed all over the UK as a soprano soloist, her operatic roles spanning Cunagonda (Candide) to Julie (Carousel). Her solo performance highlights include at St Paul’s, Covent Garden, live on BBC Southern Counties radio, at the Chichester Festival Theatre accompanied by Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Band and for the British Embassy in Kuwait as part of the Queen’s Birthday Celebrations.
Eleias Roberts, Tenor
Graduate of the RWCMD, Lei has performed as soloist for the Mozart Coronation Mass, Bach Requiem and Handel’s Messiah, and in complete contrast, Sweeney Todd with Longborough Festival Opera Young Artists. Other performances include Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Fledermaus, The Rape of Lucretia and productions with Welsh theatre company, Opera’r Ddraig.
Frances Gregory, Soprano
Currently studying at RWCMD with Lorna Anderson. Credits include winning the Elizabeth Watts Lied Prize, the ISM Sheffield Opera Prize, Songs from the Shows Prize, and the Constance Shacklock Memorial Rose Bowl for Most Outstanding Operatic Performance. Fran has played the Governess in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw and has performed a selection of contemporary opera scenes for Music Theatre Wales.
Colin Thomas Bryce, Tenor
Graduate of the RWCMD, Colin trained under the tutelage of Adrian Thompson and Vivien Care. He was a recipient of the Leverhulme Scholarship and was also supported by the Cardiff Caledonian Society. In 2012 he reached the semi-final of the Thelma King Award for Singers before going on to play the role of Pirelli in Longborough Festival Opera’s Young Artist production of Sweeney Todd. Colin also performs as a freelance singer and as part of the “Opera Boys”.
Andrew Irwin, Tenor 2
Andrew left Enniskillen, Northern Ireland at the age of 16 to study his A Levels at Chetham’s School of Music where operatic engagements included Jaffett/Noye’s Fludde and The Defendant/Trial by Ju. He has had roles in The Little Sweep with both Chetham’s School of Music and Pocket Opera. With Opera’r Ddraig, Andrew has performed the role of Macheath/The Beggar’s Opera and with Welsh National Youth Opera, as Christoph in Maxwell Davies Kommilitonen! Andrew performs regularly as a soloist and is currently on the BMus Vocal Performance course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. With an impressive beard and a seductive Irish tongue, Andrew reeks of manic charm and classical charisma.
Holly Anna-Hawkes, Soprano
Graduate of the RWCMD and the Royal Academy of Music, Holly’s credits include Welsh Musical Theatre Young Singer of the Year 2013; Young Musical Theatre Singer and the Kathleen Ferrier Society Bursary for Young Singers Award. Highlights include playing Charlotte in Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, performing alongside John Owen- Jones, singing Maria from West Side Story for BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night with the BBC Concert Orchestra and performing at Wembley SSE Arena.
Roland George Harrad, Tenor
A graduate of the Royal Welsh College Of Music and Drama, Roly has been a member of the National Youth Theatre and was the singing voice of Tony in the first series of the E4 series ‘Skins’ when he was 14. He has performed with Welsh opera company Opera’r Ddraig and sings regularly for a function band and a popular music project that has performed at a festival for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Andrew Horton, Tenor
Currently concluding a Masters in Acting at RWCMD, Andrew has been a member of The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Halls and Tewkesbury, Coventry and Salisbury Cathedrals. Performances include working with Sir David Wilcox, John Rutter, Eric Whitacre and he has trained with former leading ENO baritone Christopher Booth-Jones.
Formed in 2014, Cardiff based “ALL THAT MALARKEY” has performed at the Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff and other prestigious venues in the welsh Capital City, also at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, throughout the UK, including Covent Garden, the Kings Head Theatre London, Leeds Castle, Goodwood House, The Alexandra Theatre Bognor Regis, The Groundlings Theatre Portsmouth; also on Classic FM, BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Wales (Live), BBC Hoddinott Hall.
