How to continue the momentum of Holy Week and Easter?

Most of us go deeply into prayer and think about God at the climax of the Christian year, but it’s good to have an opportunity to spend time in reflection at other times of the year too, exploring new ways of praying away from the busyness of daily life.

Portsmouth Diocese offer a programme of 8 quiet days (usually 6 at the cathedral, 2 in Newport), led by experienced clergy and lay people. Come to one or more, just as you wish.

Here are the themes of the remaining days this year:
21st June Petersfield: Masculine spirituality
19th July Cathedral: The art of navigation
2nd August Newport: Work, play and prayer
20th Sept Cathedral: From silence through noise to stillness
11th October Cathedral: Autumn: a season for transformation

The days run 10.am-3.30.pm,  coffee available from 9.30, and cost £8.50 (book with Clare Jones, 023 9289 9678, clare.jones@portsmouth.anglican.org).
Bring a packed lunch.
