The Parish Church of St George the Martyr, Waterlooville

…Good Neighbours, of course. The Waterlooville area is well served by several voluntary groups, one of which is the Waterlooville, Purbrook and Cowplain Good Neighbours group.  St George’s can be proud of the fact that it was instrumental in setting up the group some time ago (or, if that is not true, could say ‘of the fact that it was involved with the group in its early days’).  The group still provides help which fits with St George’s concept of serving the community, which it does by helping people with their shopping, taking them to medical appointments and visiting the lonely. The group did 900 neighbourly tasks last year.  Did you know that, thanks to John Johnson, the group’s website can be accessed via the St George’s website? Why not take a look at it? Need help?
