The Tweenies met in the Church Hall in November for an interesting evening of sari draping with Noreen Singh. The outfit consists of a bodice and petticoat over which one drapes 5 metres of beautiful sari. It's helpful to have friends to assist with the arranging of the pleats and to support the fabric as it is wound around the waist and over the shoulder. The saris were all fabulous - beautiful colours and embroidery.  A bespoke sari for a special party could cost £4000!  Thank you, Noreen for an interesting evening and an enlightening quiz about India.
