The fifth Waterlooville Music Festival takes place from Saturday 12th to Sunday 20th June 2010. The festival is now firmly established as the major cultural event in the town and indeed the surrounding area, and its aim is to bring a wide range of music into the centre of Waterlooville for the whole community to enjoy.

Once again, St George’s Church is the host venue for this week long celebration of music.

The Festival Committee are finalising the programme and announcements will appear here as soon as performers are confirmed.

The opening Saturday brings hundreds of musicians at numerous locations throughout the town centre with “Market Place Music”, culminating in a “Top of the Pops Dance Band Special”. On the Wednesday we welcome the hugely popular Hampshire Police Choir and on Friday we are joined by the Portsmouth Cathedral Choir.

The final Saturday as ever features “Last Night of the Proms”, all the atmosphere of the real thing with former Royal Marines Bandmaster Don Lloyd and the Meridian Wind Band.

With around 50 concerts all together, taking place throughout the day and evening all week, Waterlooville Music Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Daytime concerts are free. Evening concerts £5 in advance, £6 on the door (Last Night of the Proms £6, advance tickets only). Passport ticket for all concerts except Last Night of the Proms £25. Tickets now on sale by secure On-Line credit card booking. Click here for the On-Line Box Office. Early bird sale, selected tickets discounted.
