What a great week the Waterlooville Music Festival turned out to be with 48 concerts in just 8 days. Over 3,300 people came to St George's Church for the formal concerts and many more attended the "Market Place Music" in the town centre on the opening Saturday. The number is up on 2008 and indicates that the mix of concerts proves to be an attraction. The Festival's aims are to increase the profile of live music in Waterlooville and to raise the profile of St George's Church. With such interest from local people both these aims were met.
There is a final event yet to take place - Songs of Praise on Sunday 19th July, 6.pm.
