Macmillan Coffee Morning

We held a Macmillan Coffee Morning in Church on Friday 28th September. There was a cake stall and we served slices of cake with tea and coffee. A total of £319.56 was raised for the charity.

Harvest Festival

At our Harvest Festival Thanksgiving Service on Sunday morning 7th October a large selection of food, cleaning and toiletries items were collected together on the altar steps and later distributed between the Two Saints Centre Fareham and Waterlooville Food Bank. After the service we enjoyed a “bring and share” parish harvest lunch in the church hall.

Church Shop

Our church shop this year was in the former Store 21 shop in the main part of the precinct - our best and largest premises yet. We had an extra large amount of furniture given to us by parishioners who had “down sized” during the year and we were able to display this to best advantage on the vast shop floor.

Customers browsed happily amongst household and gardening goods, clothes, jewellery, books, DVD’s and CD’s, pictures, toys etc. etc. etc …

An amazing amount of £6,500 was raised which is expected to increase to over £7,000 with gift aid.
